job responsibilties
Oversee and manage investment portfolios across a range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, real estate, private equity, and alternative investments.
•Ensure alignment of portfolios with clients’ financial objectives, risk tolerance, and investment horizons.
•Conduct in-depth research on market trends, asset classes, and individual investment opportunities to inform investment strategy.
•Prepare actionable insights on global economic, market, and geopolitical trends to support investment decisions
•Conduct risk assessments for various investments and develop strategies to mitigate associated risks.
•Collaborate with the Managing Director to ensure a consistent and rigorous due diligence process.
•Act as a point of contact for UHNW clients, addressing their queries and delivering high-quality service to maintain and deepen client relationships.
•Support the preparation of quarterly and annual investment reviews, collaborating closely with family office teams to ensure reports are timely and accurate.
•Ensure accurate maintenance of investment records, reports, and documentation for all managed portfolios.
•Work closely with compliance and legal teams to ensure that all investment activities are conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory requirements
requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
•7+ years of experience in investment management, preferably within a family office, private wealth management, or asset management firm.
•Extensive knowledge of a wide range of asset classes, including equities, fixed income, private equity, and alternatives.
•Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in financial modeling, business valuation and performance analysis.
•Proficiency in due diligence, risk assessment, and portfolio management practices.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information to UHNWI clients.
•High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools (e.g., Bloomberg, FactSet).
•Exceptional attention to detail, a proactive work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
