job responsibilties
Assist in the development and maintenance of project timelines, schedules, and milestones for various events.
•Support project managers in coordinating logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and resource allocation.
•Help track project progress, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Research and Analysis:
•Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential vendors, and competitive analysis to support strategic planning.
•Analyze event data and feedback to generate insights for improving future events.
Strategic Planning Support:
•Assist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives that align with the company’s goals.
•Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative solutions and strategies for client events.
•Prepare reports and presentations to communicate strategic recommendations to senior management.
•Facilitate communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals.
•Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and action items for project meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed
•Maintain comprehensive documentation of project plans, budgets, and communications.
•Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including budget tracking and expense reconciliation.
•Provide administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing files.
•Assist with the onboarding of new team members and support training initiatives as needed.
•Participate in on-site event management as required, helping to oversee setup, execution, and breakdown.
•Coordinate post-event evaluations, compiling feedback and reports for continuous improvement.
requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
•Minimum of 4 years of experience in project coordination, event planning, or a related role.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism.
•Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).
•Familiarity with budgeting and financial reporting in an event context.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
