Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and efficiency. – Manage the entire procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation. – Identify reliable suppliers, establish strong relationships, and negotiate favorable terms. – Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. – Monitor market trends, supply chain risks, and cost fluctuations to mitigate potential disruptions. – Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, and legal) to align procurement with business goals. – Oversee inventory management and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. – Develop and track key procurement metrics to measure performance and cost savings. – Implement and improve procurement processes using ERP or procurement software. – Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering continuous improvement
requirements
Bachelor’s degree/ Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
– 8-10 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
– Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
– Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.
– Knowledge of sourcing strategies, cost reduction techniques, and risk management.
– Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
– Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
– Understanding of procurement laws, policies, and best practices.
