• Oversee the management of day-to-day operations, design strategy and set goals for growth • Set policies and processes and Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees, evaluate and improve operations and financial performance • Supervise booking schedule, invoicing and regular expense reports for the management. • Participate in event calendar management, ensuring events run as scheduled and all production elements are set. . • Supervise the in-house rehearsal scheduling, orchestra setup for rehearsals and events and coordinate with Technical Director regarding special setup requirements. • Assist as required to execute on-site artist logistics during rehearsals and concerts. • Must be responsible, and able to handle confidential material, organize effectively, and work independently. • Assure that a positive image of the brand is portrayed at all times
The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that the scheduling and production of all orchestra events (concerts, rehearsals, tour, run-outs, and special events) run smoothly, effectively, and in a financially responsible manner. • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in event management production is required. Knowledge of the entertainment sector is an asset. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy are essential. • Ability to meet deadlines, often under pressure. • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Have a very high level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness. • Have a strong work ethic and require minimal direction. • Work well independently as well as part of a team.
