job responsibilties

-Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the academy’s mission and objectives. ● Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and ethical practices. ● Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions. ● Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees and external facilitators, ensuring a smooth transition into the academy and during their stay at the facility. ● Design and implement team engagement programs to foster a positive work environment vital to enhance morale and productivity. ● Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and utilizing HR information systems to streamline processes and generate reports for management. ● Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans for the workforce and ad-hoc teams. ● Identify training needs and coordinate relevant workshops, seminars, and professional development programs for employees. ● Support career development initiatives and succession planning within the academy. ● Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, incentives, and employee welfare schemes. ● Stay updated on industry trends and benchmarks to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages to boost retention and positive reviews.

requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field, such as Human Resource Management, Business administration, Organizational behaviour or a related field. (A Master’s degree or professional certification in SHRM or any globally recognized HR body may be an advantage) • Proven experience with over 6 years of progressive experience as an HR Manager or a similar HR leadership role within the education, counselling or creative industry. • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, labour laws, and best practices. • Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels. • Excellent organizational abilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities. • Proficient in using HR information systems and other relevant software. • Problem-solving mindset and ability to make sound decisions. • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information. • Good understanding of academic operations and familiarity with curriculum development and delivery. • Excellent organizational and people management skills.
