job responsibilties
* Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Lead end-to-end procurement, sourcing, vendor selection and contract negotiations.
* Manage supplier relationships, performance and cost optimisation.
* Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes and applicable regulations.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and service standards.
* Lead and develop the procurement team and drive process improvements.
* Prepare procurement reports, budgets and performance analysis for management.
requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
* 8–12 years relevant procurement experience, with proven experience within the Telecommunications industry required.
* Strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management and contract negotiation.
* Proven leadership and team management experience.
* Strong analytical, negotiation and decision-making skills.
* Excellent knowledge of procurement processes, systems and best practices.
* Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.
