FASHION PRODUCTION MANAGER
job responsibilties
• Research new sources of manufacturing and industry best practices to ensure continual process improvement and long-term vision
• Scrutinize and design the sketch/designs and pattern drafting.
• Approve procurement/market shopping list for funding and procurement
• Assign designs to tailors in a task sheet with the prices of each outfit placed on each design
• Supervise each task sheet daily and ensure all process for production are agreed based Client’s order.
• Document all challenges and comments for each outfit produced by each tailor in the task sheet
• Send in sample for fitting, approval, correction, reproduction and alterations.
• Liaise with the quality control officer and ensure quality control is carried out on each piece and the overall production batch.
• Supervise the line production and oversee finishing.
requirements
• HND or B.Sc in any related discipline
• 3 – 4 years’ experience in a managerial position. Experience in the fashion industry is a must.
• Apparel and fabric manufacturing (i.e., lead-times, transit times, garment and fabric construction and apparel manufacturing operations)
• Teamwork and problem solving to achieve goals
• Well organized with good prioritization/workload management abilities
• Highly creative and High level of attention to detail
• Excellent artistic ability and Strong visualization skills
