job responsibilties
- Create and implement varying digital marketing strategies through research, development and production of quality content
- Drive growth for the online community in Africa and other continents
- Manage the digital marketing team with a view to optimizing their performance for effectiveness
- Work with the IT team to ensure efficient and effective functionality of the organization’s website
- Create email marketing campaigns to promote products, services, events and other initiatives
- Responsible for analytics and optimization solutions and systems with innovative ideas that can improve customer experience
requirements
- First degree from a reputable university in communications, media or a related field
- A postgraduate degree or professional certificate/diploma in Digital Marketing
- 7+ years experience in digital marketing management in a technology/innovation driven field of industry
- At least 3 years experience leading a digital marketing team
- Passion to use communications, social media specifically to reach existing and potential clients
- Must be a visionary and have a strong leadership qualities
- Must be a team player
- Must be able to think outside the box
- Must possess an outstanding knowledge of social media analytics
