job responsibilties

  1. Create and implement varying digital marketing strategies through research, development and production of quality content
  2. Drive growth for the online community in Africa and other continents
  3. Manage the digital marketing team with a view to optimizing their performance for effectiveness
  4. Work with the IT team to ensure efficient and effective functionality of the organization’s website
  5. Create email marketing campaigns to promote products, services, events and other initiatives
  6.  Responsible for analytics and optimization solutions and systems with innovative ideas that can improve customer experience

requirements

  1. First degree from a reputable university in communications, media or a related field
  2. A postgraduate degree or professional certificate/diploma in Digital Marketing
  3. 7+ years experience in digital marketing management in a technology/innovation driven field of industry
  4. At least 3 years experience leading a digital marketing team
  5. Passion to use communications, social media specifically to reach existing and potential clients
  6. Must be a visionary and have a strong leadership qualities
  7. Must be a team player
  8. Must be able to think outside the box
  9. Must possess an outstanding knowledge of social media analytics
