job responsibilties
-Develop and implement the creative research strategy for the academy, in alignment with its mission and long-term goals.
● Develop and nurture relationships with alumni, fostering a sense of pride, engagement, and lifelong connection to the creative academy. ● Curate and maintain regular communication with alumni through newsletters, social media, email campaigns, and other relevant channels and events.
● Seek opportunities to involve alumni in academy events, initiatives, and speaking engagements/ programs. Plan, coordinate, and execute alumni events, such as reunions, networking receptions, industry talks, and workshops.
● Collaborate with internal teams, faculty, and students to ensure the successful organization of alumni events. Handle logistics, including venue selection, catering, invitations, and event promotion.
● Develop and implement career support programs for alumni, such as job boards, mentoring programs, and alumni-to-alumni networking.
● Collaborate with the career services team to provide resources, workshops, and job placement assistance to alumni.
● Facilitate networking opportunities between alumni and current students to promote mentorship and professional development.
● Maintain an up-to-date alumni database, ensuring accurate contact information and alumni profiles. Track engagement and participation in events, programs, and donations.
requirements
-• A Master’s degree in international relations, business management, administration or a related discipline.
● Proven experience in alumni relations, corporate planning, or related fields with at least 8 preferably in an academic or research institution.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
● Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capability to multitask and prioritize effectively. ● Knowledge of best practices in alumni engagement, career planning, and career services.
● Familiarity with database management and tracking systems.
● Creative and innovative thinking, with the ability to develop engaging alumni programs and initiatives.
