job responsibilties

Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights to management. •Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections. • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate records of all transactions. •Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. •Stay updated on changes in tax laws and implement necessary adjustments to maintain •Conduct financial analysis to support strategic business decisions, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow management. •Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management. •Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function. •Leverage technology to streamline accounting processes and improve financial reporting. •Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. •Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliation.  

requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. •Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the service industry. •Strong knowledge of accounting principles (LIRS/FIRS) and financial reporting. •Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. •Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. •Strong organizational and time management skills. •Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. •High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. •Experience in the design or creative industry. •Familiarity with project-based accounting and job costing.
