job responsibilties
Accurately record all financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, and payments, in the accounting system.
•Reconcile bank statements and accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
•Maintain up-to-date records for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
•Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
•Collaborate with the Finance Manager to ensure all required financial documentations are complete, accurate, and filed promptly.
•Monitor and track deadlines for tax filings, payments, and other regulatory submissions to avoid penalties
•Assist in the preparation of the company’s financial statements by providing accurate bookkeeping data and timely reconciliations.
•Liaise with external parties, such as vendors, clients, and tax authorities, to resolve accounting issues and confirm transaction details.
requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
•Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within an architectural, design, or project-based firm.
•Must be proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
•He/She should have strong understanding of GAAP, project-based accounting, and financial management principles.
