job responsibilties
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and budget variance analyses.
- Monitor cash flow, project costs, and financial performance across real estate developments.
- Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls and accounting policies.
- Support payroll processing, financial planning, and annual budgeting.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members while driving continuous process improvement.
requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Minimum of *7 years’* progressive finance and accounting experience, preferably within the real estate, construction, or property development sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
