job responsibilties
- Sourcing & Procurement: securing reliable suppliers and negotiating cost-effective terms
- Inventory Management: maintaining optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or excess
- Logistics & Distribution: ensuring timely and efficient movement of goods
- Demand & Supply Planning: aligning supply with business and customer demand
- Cost Optimization: reducing supply chain costs without compromising quality or service
- Supplier & Vendor Management: building strong, reliable partnerships
- Risk Management: identifying and mitigating disruptions (delays, shortages, price volatility)
requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is required.
- 7–9 years of extensive experience in Supply chain management, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role (preferable in the oil and gas sector)
- Experience in managing international supply chains and working with global suppliers
- Proven experience in negotiating local and international contracts and managing supplier relationships.
- Understanding of national and international regulatory requirements, trade laws, and compliance standards within the oil and gas industry.
