job responsibilties
* Drive end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of all projects — ensuring timelines, budgets, scopes, and quality standards are strictly met.
•Define and enforce SOPs for project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
•Conduct pre- and post-project briefings to evaluate performance and capture lessons learned.
•Supervise AV Tech and Facility/Equipment teams to ensure operational readiness of all assets before deployment.
•Enforce punctuality, professionalism, and accountability across all operations staff.
•Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions to address recurring issues such as lateness, poor communication, lack of initiative, dishonesty, and technical errors.
•Develop clear KPIs for Project Managers, Facility Managers and AV Tech; hold them responsible for proactive planning, team supervision, and client communication.
•Act as escalation point for clients but ensure Project Managers are empowered to independently manage client relationships from start to finish.
•Ensure the facility manager maintains a clean, safe, professional working environment across all office and warehouse facilities.
•Enforce routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and tracking of equipment/assets.
•Identify recurring operational challenges and implement improvements in staffing, systems, workflows, and vendor sourcing.
•Introduce project planning templates, checklists, technical configuration SOPs for AV installations, and reporting dashboards to reduce errors and reliance on senior management decision-making.
•Champion a culture of initiative, truthfulness, continuous learning .
requirements
•Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related field.
* 7–10 years’ experience in Operations/Technical Services within events, media, engineering or related industries.
•Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop underperforming staff.
•Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, facility management, and AV systems.
•Excellent communication, disciplinary control, and problem-solving skills.
