job responsibilties
Develop and implement an integrated communications, strategy, and market engagement plan that aligns with the company’s business objectives.
– Lead the development of a long-term strategy to drive market share growth and improve brand perception across key markets.
– Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure alignment between communication strategies and business goals.
– Oversee all corporate communication functions, including internal and external communications, media relations, crisis communications, and digital marketing.
– Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication platforms, including social media, websites, and press releases.
– Craft and deliver key messages for media, analysts, investors, and other stakeholders.
– Lead media relations strategy, managing relationships with journalists, influencers, and PR agencies.
– Handle crisis communication efforts and develop response strategies to maintain the company’s reputation during challenging situations.
– Develop and implement strategies to drive market engagement, including campaigns, events, and other initiatives that promote the brand and increase customer engagement.
– Ensure effective segmentation of the market and development of targeted communication efforts to engage with different customer segments.
– Identify new market opportunities and assess industry trends to enhance engagement strategies.
– Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication and market engagement efforts, making data-driven decisions to refine and optimize strategies.
– Champion the company’s brand, ensuring it is consistently represented across all channels and touchpoints.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and government entities.
– Lead efforts in corporate social responsibility (CSR), ensuring that the company’s values and initiatives resonate with customers and partners.
– Act as a spokesperson for the organization at industry events, conferences, and media interviews, enhancing the company’s profile in the market.
– Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing communications and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
– Manage external agency relationships, ensuring the quality and consistency of outsourced communications and marketing services.
– Develop and manage the department’s budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across campaigns, events, and strategic initiatives.
– Oversee the creation and management of content across various digital platforms, ensuring engagement, relevance, and alignment with market trends.
– Manage the digital communications strategy, including websites, blogs, email marketing, social media, and online advertising.
– Utilize analytics and data to track campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve reach and engagement.
requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
– Minimum of 6+ years of experience in communications, marketing strategy, or related roles.
– Proven track record in developing and executing successful communication and engagement strategies in a fast-paced environment.
– Demonstrated experience in leading a cross-functional team and managing external agencies or vendors.
– Experience in crisis communications and reputation management is essential.
– Deep understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and the evolving media landscape.
